We are always on the lookout for brunches that stand out, and Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse in DIFC had been on our radar for a while. Known for its all you can eat churrasco experience, it promised endless cuts of meat, flowing drinks, and a lively Latin American vibe. The best part is that it is on the Entertainer app as a buy one get one free deal, which made it too tempting to resist.
Did it live up to the hype? Let’s find out.

We arrived right on time and were the first ones seated at brunch. The staff were welcoming and our waitress gave us a quick rundown of how things work. Here is the deal: you help yourself to a huge salad bar, sides are brought to the table, and then the carvers arrive one by one to serve different cuts of meat straight onto your plate.
Each person has a small coaster with a green side for “keep it coming” and a red side for “pause, I need a break.” Simple but fun.

The restaurant itself feels elegant, with plenty of space and a terrace overlooking the Burj Khalifa. It was too hot to sit outside during our visit, but I can imagine the terrace being a great option when the weather cools down.
First off I was highly impressed by the salad station. This was not your average salad bar. Everything had a Latin American twist, from a delicious corn salad to an aubergine salad that turned out to be a real surprise favourite. There was even a cheese corner with a good variety. Honestly, you could fill up here alone, but that would be a rookie mistake. Save room for the meat.

The star of the show was definitely the meat. The carvers brought round all the different cuts of meat, cooked at different levels so there was something for everyone. I loved the outer slices, which were crispier and cooked more medium.
The standout cut was the Picanha, a prime part of the top sirloin and my first time trying it. It was juicy, full of flavour, and easily my favourite bite of the day. The brisket was another highlight, so tender it practically melted.

Sides came straight to the table, and they were just as memorable. The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth, and I really enjoyed the fried banana, an unexpected addition, but delicious.

We all went for the alcohol brunch package, and honestly, the Caipirinhas stole the show. They were so good it felt almost criminal to order anything else. That said, we did try the sangria and wine, both of which were excellent. The only letdown was the mojito, which didn’t quite hit the mark for most of the table.

Fogo de Chão strikes a nice balance for brunch. It is lively without being chaotic. A Latin band played throughout, adding great energy to the room without making it impossible to chat. It felt like the kind of place that works for almost any occasion, whether that is families, romantic dates, or a chilled-out catch up with friends.

Pros
Excellent food quality, especially the meat and sides
Huge and interesting salad bar
Elegant dining room with terrace and Burj Khalifa views
Live music adds atmosphere without being over the top
A completely different brunch experience compared to the usual buffets
Cons
You will want to arrive on time, as the restaurant fills up quickly. There is an overflow room that feels a little detached from the main action
Desserts were not particularly memorable. The churros were fine but nothing special
On the pricier side if you do not use the Entertainer, though still worth it for the quality

Picanha
Brisket
Mashed potatoes
Fried banana
Caipirinha
This was a brunch that genuinely felt different from the rest. The food was excellent, the vibe was fun without tipping into chaos, and the service was spot on. If you are a meat lover, it is easily one of the best brunches in Dubai.
