If you’re on the hunt for a Friday night brunch in Dubai that ticks all the boxes, tasty food, great cocktails, a relaxed vibe AND a view that deserves its own Instagram account, then the Eataly At The Beach Friday Night Brunch is exactly where you should be heading. Simple food, done well, and at a price that made me double-check I was actually in JBR.

The brunch is set inside The Pavilion at The Beach JBR, which gives big “Time Out Market” energy. There are loads of licensed restaurants here but honestly, the whole area feels like Dubai’s best-kept secret, gorgeous setting, right on the beach, and not even close to the chaos I expected on a Friday evening.
At Eataly, you wander through the little Italian marketplace first (try not to get distracted) before stepping into the restaurant with its open kitchen, and then out onto the terrace… where Ain Dubai is basically staring you down across the water like, “Go on then, take a photo.”

🚗 Basement parking available, don’t forget to validate for 4 hours free
🚶♀️We took a taxi and got dropped off at Bluewaters, then walked over the pedestrian bridge. It’s only 15 minutes and a lovely walk, highly recommend if you want to avoid the JBR traffic madness.
This isn’t one of those “elbow someone for the last prawn” brunches. Everything is served to your table and the whole vibe is very let’s relax into the weekend. The food is pure Italian comfort, simple, delicious classics done properly, and honestly, who could say no to that?

The starters were very good!
🍕 Pizza
🍝 Meatballs
🐙 Calamari
🧀 Buffalo mozzarella & tomatoes
The calamari and buffalo mozzarella were the showstoppers, fresh, generous, and very “pass the plate back this way please.”

We were split: half team Seabream, half Bolognese.
Both? Excellent.
The seabream had perfectly crisp skin with fennel and orange that just worked. The Bolognese was rich, homemade pasta, and absolutely no risk of offending any Italians, you can tell it’s cooked with love and probably a Nonna whispering encouragement somewhere.

At AED 350 for the alcoholic package, the drinks alone feel like a win. The cocktail list is huge and actually good. We had a mix of classic negronis, Negroni Sbagliato (a twist on the classic with prosecco), Hugo Spritz and Limoncello Spritz, all super refreshing. Wine and Birra Moretti are included too, keeping the Italian theme going strong.
Everyone found something they loved, including the negroni haters.

Definitely save room for dessert. We shared tiramisu, cheesecake and cannoli, and the tiramisu was absolute heaven. Oh and the cannoli instantly transported me back to Sicily, it was that good!

This is where Eataly At The Beach Friday Night Brunch becomes even better:
AED 295 Soft Drinks
AED 350 Tradizonale (cocktails + wine + beer)
AED 395 Superiore (add prosecco + extra cocktails)
These prices are rare for JBR, especially with this location and quality.
⚠️ Bonus tip: Pay via Careem Plus for 10% off the bill!
Be sure to check the website for the most up-to-date pricing, as offers can change.
So here’s the verdict. If you want a relaxed Friday night brunch where you can actually chat with your friends, eat great Italian food, enjoy a beautiful beachfront view, and not panic when the bill arrives Eataly At The Beach Friday Night Brunch should be top of your list.
