Prime68 Steakhouse Menu Review: Business Lunch

Prime 68 sign

Prime68 Steakhouse has long been on my list of must-try business lunches. When I saw their AED 189 three-course deal was slashed to AED 125 for a summer special, I booked right away. This offer on the Prime68 steakhouse menu is available until the end of summer, so it’s a great time to visit if you’ve been waiting to try it.

First Impressions

Prime68 is on the 68th floor of JW Marriott Dubai in Business Bay—so yes, the name makes sense! The restaurant features minimalist black-and-white decor with touches of movie star artwork. I was a bit disappointed not to get a window seat, but the stunning private booth we were shown to quickly made me forget all about it.

Starters from the Prime68 Steakhouse Menu

For starters, we had the French onion soup, a favourite of my husband, and I chose the carpaccio. The waiter wisely warned me it might be a bit fishy, so I swapped it for a Caesar salad with the dressing on the side—brilliant service! The salad was good, but let’s face it, it’s just lettuce.

My husband declared the French onion soup the best he’s ever had, and since he’s stingy with ratings, that’s saying a lot!

Mains from the Prime68 Steakhouse Menu

Before the mains arrived, the waiter brought over a chest filled with steak knives so we could choose our favourite. How posh is that?

The steaks from the Prime68 steakhouse menu were cooked to perfection, and each plate came with a little potato chip branded with the steak’s cooking preference—medium, medium-rare, such a cute touch. The steak was fantastic, the foie gras melted in the mouth, the peppercorn sauce was mouth-watering, and the shoestring fries were just the right amount of crispy.

Desserts

For dessert, we had the choice between Eton mess and chocolate mousse, so naturally, we had one of each. The chocolate mousse was simply out of this world—rich but not too rich, with a beautiful strawberry twist. It was so good I considered asking for a second serving, but I didn’t want to appear too greedy.

The Eton mess went down well too!

Worth A Second Visit?

It would be almost criminal to give Prime68 anything less than a 10/10. Everything was spot on: exceptional service, a stunning setting, perfect food, and a price that didn’t make my wallet cry. They also offer valet parking, which is always a bonus. The experience was so impressive that we’re already planning our return for brunch or even a fancy date night. If you’re a steak lover or just in need of a top-notch lunch, this place is a must-visit! I booked the restaurant through the website here.

Top Tip: Don’t miss a visit to the restrooms; you’ll thank me later!
