Is parking at Dubai Mall still free? The short answer: not entirely. After an announcement last year and a period of silence, we have spotted new signs in the mall confirming the implementation of parking fees. Here are the details you need to know about Dubai Mall parking cost:

 

First The Good News

From Monday to Thursday, The Dubai Mall parking is free for up to 4 hours. On weekends (Friday to Sunday), you get a generous 6 hours of free parking. So, you can shop, dine, and explore without rushing.

Dubai Mall parking cost breakdown is as follows:

Monday to Thursday

• 0-4 Hours: Free
• 4-5 Hours: Dhs 40
• 5-6 Hours: Dhs 60
• 6-7 Hours: Dhs 80
• 8-12 Hours: Dhs 100
• 12-24 Hours: Dhs 500
• Over 24 Hours: Dhs 1,000

Weekends (Friday to Sunday)

• 0-6 Hours: Free
• 6-7 Hours: Dhs 80
• 8-12 Hours: Dhs 100
• 12-24 Hours: Dhs 500
• Over 24 Hours: Dhs 1,000

These fees apply to the Grand Parking and Cinema Parking areas. At the moment, Zabeel and Fountain Views parking areas are still free.

 

Automated Payment System

No more fumbling for tickets! The new system uses vehicle plate recognition to charge your Salik account directly. A camera captures your plate number as you enter the parking floor and records the entry time. Upon exit, the camera scans your plate again, and the system calculates your parking time. It’s hassle-free and efficient.

Good news for:

• People of determination
• Public service providers (police, ambulance, emergency vehicles, civil defense, etc.)
• Valet drop-off
