Friday Night Supper Club – Graze Gastro Grill

If you’re after a Friday night that feels like a treat without breaking the bank you need to add Graze Gastro Grill’s Supper Club to your list. We went recently with friends who are proper foodies, the kind who smoke their own brisket and judge food like they’re on MasterChef. So, yeah, expectations were high.

What’s on the Table

For AED 225 you get a three course sharing menu and unlimited soft drinks. If you want something stronger you can order from the happy hour menu which they kindly keep running for supper clubbers. Even the bread was fresh and perfectly baked. I had to stop myself from filling up before the starters arrived.

Speaking of starters, the whipped burrata was so creamy it could have easily been eaten with a spoon. The chilled shrimp cocktail came with just the right hit of tangy sauce, while the chicken liver pâté was rich and velvety. Surprisingly, my personal favourite was the hot smoked salmon and I don’t usually even go for salmon! Each dish was generously portioned and dangerously moreish, but trust me, hang back a bit because you’ll want to keep plenty of room for the mains…

Main Course

The smoked brisket was fall-apart tender with just the right smoky kick. The beef tenderloin was cooked exactly as ordered – juicy, flavourful, and melt-in-your-mouth soft. There were plenty of sides, but the truffle fries completely stole the show… I could have happily eaten the whole portion myself.

There was also a great selection of sauces, with the chimichurri taking the crown – fresh and zingy with just enough garlic to keep things interesting. My husband, who rarely gives steak the thumbs up, actually gave it the thumbs up! In fact, everyone at the table was full of praise for the meats.

Dessert vs Drinks (Drinks Won)

For dessert, there was a cheesecake and an orange chocolate granita, a nice concept but neither quite my cup of tea. To be completely honest, I was so full I could barely manage more than a bite.

By that point, I’d already found my true love for the evening, the vodka sour from the happy hour menu. It was perfectly balanced and dangerously easy to drink. So good, in fact, that I ended up ordering more than one… okay, maybe more than two!

The Vibe

There was live music, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was excellent. It felt like the perfect place to eat, chat, and enjoy a classy Friday night without the usual price tag.

Graze Gastro Grill hits that sweet spot of great food, a beautiful setting, and a price that actually makes you feel like you’ve bagged a proper bargain.

Would I go back? Absolutely. Next time I’m not sharing my truffle fries.
