Dubai Miracle Garden
This week, my husband checked off a long-awaited item from my winter to-do list: a visit to Dubai Miracle Garden. It’s always popping up on my Instagram feed. It’s not just any garden in the desert; it’s an incredibly cool, record-breaking marvel! The way Dubai creates things on such a grand scale never fails to amaze me. I mean, having the world’s largest natural flower garden in the desert is simply mind-boggling!
Blooms Beyond Belief
Arriving at 1 pm on a weekday proved to be a smart move—no queues! We got our tickets at the gate and were pleasantly surprised by the residents’ discount, which was easily applied when we flashed our Emirates ID. Double win!
The pictures really don’t show how beautiful this place truly is. There was so much to take in. It’s a huge place. The large garden and sculptures were amazing but what was equally as amazing is how beautifully the plants, flowers and sculptures are cared for. There are 150 million flowers cared for and in full bloom and not a dead leaf or dead flower petal in sight.
Walking through the garden, you can actually smell the flowers’ fragrance in the air! Maybe it sounds like a strange comment, but for some reason, the flowers in Dubai don’t have a strong scent. So, it was very nice to experience the actual aroma of flowers!
There are many places you can stop and relax along the way, with around 30 food and beverage vendors selling water, coffee, and snacks.
Insta-Garden Goals
Dubai Miracle Garden is more than just flowers; it’s a visual delight! These flowers are treated like A-list celebrities! It’s like a magical journey into nature’s vibrant colours. And hey, it’s a paradise for Instagram, so make sure to charge your phone—trust me, you’ll thank me later!

Miracle Garden Tips 101
- Perfect Timing: Visit between November to January. This is when the flowers are blooming at their best.
- Floral Catwalk: Dress comfy but stylish for your floral runway.
- Hydration Station: Carry water; it’s a bloom-powered workout.
- Snap & Go: Bring your camera or smartphone; lots of photo opportunities.
Miracle Garden World Records!
Dubai Miracle Garden has rightfully earned three Guinness World Records for its beautiful displays.
The standout at for me at Dubai Miracle Garden? The A380 Emirates plane structure, a Guinness World Record holder for the largest flower arrangement, covered head to toe in over 500,000 fresh flowers and plants. Fully bloomed, it boasts 5 million flowers, weighing over 100 tonnes, including a logo made from 9000 flowers and wings adorned with 100,000 flowers. Built by 200 people working 10 hours a day for 180 days, it’s a masterpiece that took 144,000 hours to create. The ‘tree-trunk’ wings add a charming natural touch. Talk about impressive effort!

How Much Time do You Need?
We found that around an hour and a half was more than enough time, although you could easily spend a good few hours here if you purchase some refreshments and find a nice place to sit.
Trouble Walking?
We saw some visitors being transported around via a golf buggy, so if you have walking difficulties, there is no need to worry, you can still enjoy the garden.
Best Time to Visit Miracle Garden?
The garden is open during the winter months usually from 01st October to 30th April.
Aim for early morning or late afternoon visits when it’s not too hot. Our January weekday visit at 1 pm was comfortable for strolling, but popular displays still had a fair number of visitors, making photography a bit challenging. For fewer crowds, get there early around 9 am if you can.
If you want to experience the garden illuminated, I would say arrive at around 4-5pm. You will then benefit from the daytime, and evening experience.
Top Tip: Pick a weekday visit as it is less crowded.
