World Cut Steakhouse Brunch
The World Cut Steakhouse Brunch has been on our radar for what feels like forever! But let’s be honest—Dubai is basically the brunch capital of the world, and trying to work through our never-ending list of must-visit spots is almost impossible.
After many failed attempts to round up a group, we realised this wasn’t the kind of brunch where you down shots and dance on tables. Nope, this is a more refined, sophisticated affair—perfect for date night or, in this case, date brunch! So, we booked for just the two of us.
First Impressions: A Classy Affair
The World Cut Steakhouse is tucked inside the Al Habtoor Palace Hotel, which, as expected, is as elegant as it gets. We were actually invited into a welcome lounge for a pre-brunch drink and some canapés. Now that’s how you set the tone!
The restaurant itself oozes sophistication, with dark wood interiors and plush seating. If you’re looking for a rowdy brunch, this isn’t it. But if you’re after a luxurious, relaxed vibe with top-tier food, you’re in the right place.
World Cut Steakhouse Menu
We used The Entertainer app (a lifesaver in Dubai) and went for the champagne package—buy one, get one free at AED 795 for both of us. Not too shabby for a high-end brunch!
First up, the seafood platter: Dibba Bay oysters, crabmeat, prawn cocktail, smoked salmon with capers, and mussels. Fresh, delicious, and unlimited—yes, you could order more, but trust me, there was plenty!
Then came the main event—the meat platter. Tenderloin, Sirloin and short rib, cooked to absolute perfection. My husband went for medium-rare, while I stuck to my trusty medium. Both were spot on, but the short rib? Unreal. Melt-in-your-mouth good. At one point, the waiter asked if we wanted more meat, and I nearly choked on my champagne. The portions were seriously generous!
The meats were accompanied by truffle fries with parmesan (heavenly) and some sautéed broccoli with mushrooms (which I kindly let my husband enjoy because, well, mushrooms are not for me). And let’s not forget the sauces—béarnaise and peppercorn—served in the cutest little pans.
Champagne
The drinks flowed effortlessly—our champagne flutes were never even half empty, so technically, we only had one drink, right? Haha. Though I think our heads strongly disagreed the next morning. But honestly, we couldn’t fault the service; the staff were topping up our glasses before we even realized we needed a refill!
Dessert: Not Just an Afterthought
Brunch desserts are usually hit or miss—either a sad little selection or an overwhelming sugar bomb. But here? They nailed it. Cheesecake, banana cake, popcorn, and choux buns all beautifully arranged on a platter. Every bite was as good as it looked.
Live Music & Atmosphere
To top it all off, there was a live singer providing the perfect soundtrack to our meal. Nothing over-the-top, just a lovely, mellow performance that added to the overall ambiance.
Is World Cut Steakhouse Worth It?
Absolutely! From the moment we arrived, everything was top-notch—the service, the food, the atmosphere. If you love high-quality meat and seafood, enjoy a more refined brunch experience, and don’t mind splurging a little, World Cut Steakhouse is 100% worth it.
Highly recommend for a date brunch, special occasion, or just a treat-yourself kind of day. Just maybe skip breakfast before you go—trust me, you’ll need the extra room! If you would like to book The World Cut Steakhouse you can do so here.
