Indian Restaurant Dubai Hills: Reverly Review

The Dubai Hills food scene is getting pretty exciting lately. You might remember my post on Saylor’s – Best Fish & Chips in Dubai. Well, recently I checked out Reverly, a modern Indian restaurant in Dubai Hills recently awarded a Michelin bib, located across from Dubai Hills Mall, in the Business Park. It has got a pretty cool concept, billing itself as Dubai’s first Indian Tapas spot. Indian food and tapas are two of my favourite things, and with it being a fully licensed cocktail bar, I’ll be honest, it would have to be pretty bad for me not to like it.

Indian Dining & Cocktails at Reverly

Reverly’s got a super cozy vibe with its lush greenery. The award-winning Chef Rahul Rana leads the kitchen. The cool part? Reverly is from the same team behind the 2-time Michelin-starred Tresind Studio and Carnival by Tresind. So, if the 900 AED per person price tag at Tresind isn’t within your budget, don’t worry! Reverly is definitely your answer, with dishes starting from just 12 AED. Plus, their cocktail bar is awesome, with some really creative drinks to go with your meal.

Finger licking Good!

The food at Reverly is seriously finger-licking delicious, with each dish offering unique flavors and beautiful presentation that really have that oomph factor. Even the poppadoms look like a work of art! Having visited twice now, I can honestly say that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every single dish. While the ghee roast lamb and chicken tikka masala were standout dishes for me, there wasn’t a single thing that failed to impress. I think I’m qualified to say so since I’ve nearly worked my way through the entire menu!

Special Offers and Deals at Reverly

They offer a great happy hour with drinks priced at only 29 AED, running Monday to Thursday from 12-8 pm. I heard that they also have a fantastic business lunch offer, and you know how much I like a good business lunch, so I’ll be reviewing it soon!

What Could Be Better at Reverly

I recommend booking in advance as it appears the cat is most definitely out of the bag. When we visited on both Friday night and again on Saturday, the restaurant was packed, and all tables were still occupied when we left around 11:00 pm. If I had to nitpick, my only gripe would be the surprise service charges and taxes at the end, which bump up the bill by about 22 percent. But hey, if you know about it beforehand, it won’t catch you off guard. Even with that, the bill was still pretty affordable, with dishes starting from just 12 AED. There is valet parking available, but it’s not free. However, based on my experience, in the evening, you can self-park for free nearby.

Why Reverly Stole My Heart

Would I recommend Reverly? Absolutely! It’s a fantastic spot for a night out with friends or a romantic date night. The cocktails are top-notch, though I found the Indian-style gin poori shot didn’t quite suit my palate, so I stuck to the classics – which were all fantastic. The pros? Great service, delicious food, and even the manager pops by to make sure everything’s up to scratch. It definitely holds its own compared to Carnival by Tresind. Honestly, it’s one of the best modern Indian/Indian fusion dinners I’ve ever had, and having recently been recognized by the Michelin Guide and awarded a Michelin Bib, Michelin clearly agrees with me that this place is worth a visit! As mentioned before I highly recommend booking in advance, you can book online here – Reverly Website
