ZETA Seventy Seven Brunch

The Address JBR

The Address JBR is hard to miss. It’s that iconic building that, for some reason, I’ve always thought looks like a stretched polo mint (don’t ask me why, it just does). You can spot it from almost anywhere in JBR, standing tall and fabulous, practically daring you not to stare. Back when we first moved to Dubai, we lived in JBR for six weeks, and I became completely charmed by this quirky building. Whether you’re on the beach, walking through the Marina, or even driving along Sheikh Zayed Road, it’s there, looking majestic. I promised myself I’d swim in its rooftop pool one day.

The only issue? Back then, it was strictly for hotel guests. Still, I swore I’d find a way. Fast forward four years, and the stars aligned—Secret Parties teamed up with ZETA Seventy Seven to host their Secret Sky Brunch, and suddenly, my dream pool day became an afforable reality.

ZETA Seventy Seven Secret Brunch

ZETA Seventy Seven, located on the 77th floor of The Address JBR, runs its Secret Sky Brunch hosted by Secret Parties every Friday with two options:

  • Day Brunch: 12 PM – 3:30 PM
  • Sunset Brunch: 5 PM – 8:30 PM

Both offer sharing platters, free-flow drinks, and (drumroll please) access to the world’s highest outdoor infinity pool. They also have live entertainment—DJs, saxophonists, drummers, and the occasional surprise performance to keep things lively.

Packages start at AED 397 for house beverages, with options for sunbeds or air-conditioned cabanas going up to AED 577. Teachers and Cabin Crew take note—you get a discount!

Naturally, we chose the Sunset Brunch because there’s nothing quite like Dubai’s golden hour. We also took the premium package at AED 477 because, why not go all out, right! Plus, a lucky teacher among us took advantage of the teacher discount.

ZETA Seventy Seven: A Lift Marathon

Now, getting to ZETA Seventy Seven feels a bit like a puzzle. You’ll need to take three lifts to get to the top. First, hop on the lift to “L,” then switch to another lift for the 75th floor. From there, you’ll stroll through the spa (which, by the way, smells amazing) before taking the final lift up to the 77th floor.

By the way, I have no idea how I managed this in reverse after brunch!

We are on top of the world!

When we arrived, the view instantly took our breath away. Photos don’t do it justice—it’s the kind of vista that makes you pause and say, “Wow, I’m really on top of the world.”

We were quickly checked in, given wristbands, and shown to our table, which had prime sunset views! Our server, Pradeep, wasted no time bringing over a drinks bucket and cocktail menu. The evening was a bit chilly, but the heaters and blankets provided by the staff made it cozy and comfortable.

Poolside Bliss and Locker Shenanigans

After a few drinks, we couldn’t resist the pull of the infinity pool. The changing rooms with lockers are conveniently located near the check-in area, and the pool itself was warm and inviting. By the time we got in, most of the other guests had left, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves.

The staff were absolute legends—they even acted as our personal photographers, making sure we got all the best shots for Instagram. As for the only hiccup? Well, let’s just say one of us (not naming names!) somehow managed to lock themselves out of their locker. No worries though, security came to the rescue and had it sorted in minutes—more funny than stressful!

The Feast at ZETA Seventy Seven

Back at our table, the food started arriving, and it was no exaggeration to say the platters were overflowing. Huge plates of sushi, chicken wings, sliders, battered shrimp, and fries—each with just the right amount of spice. One of my friends isn’t a fan of spicy food, so she asked for plain fries, and the staff brought them out without hesitation.

The service was impeccable, and even as our time slot came to an end, we weren’t rushed. Instead, the staff kindly loaded up our drinks and let us linger by the pool to finish them.

Why ZETA Seventy Seven is Worth It

This isn’t just a brunch; it’s an experience. The views? Just as stunning as the ones at Aura Skypool (check out my post on Aura Skypool here). The price works out to be about the same, but at ZETA Seventy Seven, food and drinks are included, and booking was super easy. Aura Skypool is often fully booked, so ZETA Seventy Seven could be a great alternative. Or, heck, why not do both?

From the delicious food to the thoughtful touches (like heaters and blankets), Zeta77 made us feel like VIPs. And to top it all off, we caught the JBR drone show from our table—a perfect finale to an unforgettable day.

Would I go back? Absolutely. I’m already planning a daytime visit to soak up the views in the sunshine. If you’re on the fence about trying Zeta77, trust me—just do it!

Final Tip for ZETA Seventy Seven

Charge your phone! Between the pool, the views, and the vibe, you’ll want to snap a hundred photos—and trust me, every one of them will be Instagram-worthy.
